Board Members
Donald M. Bastian has been a practicing attorney in Hannibal and the surrounding area since 1989. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Bastian was a certified public accountant. He is the owner of Mark Twain Title Company with offices in Hannibal and Palmyra, Missouri. Mr. Bastian is a member of the Missouri Bar, Past-President of Northeast Missouri Development Corporation, Past-President of the Hannibal Lions Club, and a founding director of the Hannibal Community Foundation. He also serves as the Municipal Judge for the City of Hannibal and is a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church.
Michael J. Bukstein, M.D , is currently the Executive Physician Director of the Hannibal Clinic, a component of the Blessing Health System. Fellow of the Am College of Surgeons and Board Certified General Surgeon serving Hannibal since 1975 at the Hannibal Clinic, a physician run multispecialty clinic. On the Medical staff of the Hannibal Clinic, Northeast Missouri Ambulatory Surgery Center, Blessing Hospital and Hannibal Regional Hospital. Former officer and President of the Medical Staffs of Levering and St. Elizabeth Hospital as well as Hannibal Regional Hospital for multiple terms. Prior President and CEO of the Hannibal Clinic from 1985 to 2016. Founder, President and CEO of the Northeast Missouri Anesthesia Services from 2000 until 2015. A member of the Hannibal Clinic Services Corporation, a 501(C)3 healthcare service corporation and founding Board Chair of Cross River Quality Health Partners, a clinically integrated regional healthcare network. He is also a Trustee of the George H. Riedel Private Foundation.
William H. Craigmiles is President of Big River Oil Company, DBA Gray Oil Company, and Fowler Oil Company. Mr. Craigmiles is a past Board member of the Hannibal Regional Hospital. He is President of the Hannibal Industrial Development Board, Vice-President of the Camp Oki-Tipi Board, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion, and the Hannibal Lions Club. He is past member of the Mark Twain Home Board, Historic Hannibal, Inc., Beth Haven Nursing Home Board, and the YMCA Board. He is also past President of the School District Building Corporation and is a Director Emeritus for the Hannibal YMCA. He is also a Trustee of the George H. Riedel Private Foundation.
Alvin E. (Spike) Ehrhardt is President of Ehrhardt Properties Land Development Company and its hotels, restaurants and leasing properties. Mr. Ehrhardt is past President of the Hannibal Evening Kiwanis Club and past President of the YMCA Board. He is a member of the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, and Holy Family Church.
Scott T. Ehrhardt is the owner and operator of Ehrhardt Hospitality and affiliating companies that owns and operates fifteen hotels in Missouri and Illinois. Scott is a graduate of Hannibal High School and went on to receive a degree in accounting from Central Missouri State University, passed his CPA exam and worked in public accounting for a few years. Combined with an accounting and business background, Scott enjoys operating successful businesses and working with a diverse group of people. Each business is heavily involved in the communities in which they are located. Human Resource development and team building are key elements that have made each location successful. Scott has served on various boards and committees throughout the years that deal directly with the communities he is involved in and the Branded Hotels that he works with; which include IHG Owners Association, where he has served on the Technology Working Group and was Chairman of the IHG Extended Stay Committee. Locally, he serves on the CVB Board of Hannibal, MO.
Stewart M. McIntyre is Vice President of Big River Oil Company, Co-owner of Big River Pest Control, and a member of the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a Past President of the Missouri Petroleum and Convenience Store Association (MPCA) and Past-President of the Evening Kiwanis Club of Hannibal. He has served on the YMCA of Hannibal’s Board of Directors, the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and currently serves on the Camp Oko-Tipi Board of Directors as Treasurer.
Paul L. Richards is an owner in Wade Stables PC, and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Richards is a current member of the Board of Directors for Beth Haven Nursing Home and the Hannibal High School Booster Club. He is also a Trustee of the George H. Riedel Private Foundation, Neff Private Foundation, and Stones Prairie Private Foundation.
Carl C. Watson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of F&M Bank and Trust Co. and Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Watson has worked in many management positions within the Bank and has over 34 years banking experience. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce & current member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of the Mark Twain Area Board of Directors and the Hannibal Lions Club. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Bankers Association.
Phillip L. Smith (Director Emeritus) is the previous President of the Smith Funeral Home located in Hannibal, Missouri. Mr. Smith is a past President and current member of the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of First Christian Church and is a member of the Hannibal Evening Kiwanis Club. Mr. Smith has served as a board member of other community organizations.
Gordon Spilker (Director Emeritus) is a retired farmer who lives in Hannibal. He is a past president of the Hannibal Board of Public Works. He served as Vice President of the Northeast Missouri Grain Processors. Mr. Spilker served on the Hannibal Regional Hospital board. He also served for ten years on the Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority. He has served as a Commissioner for the Mid-American Port Authority.
